Career Network Day - Arrival Details


Unloading Packages/Displays:
If you wish to unload your packages and displays before parking, please come to the University Union first.

Eastern Illinois University is located in Charleston, 10 miles east of Interstate 57 on Route 16. Once you have reached the city of Charleston, travel to 7th Street (just past Old Main [castle building]) and turn right (south). Travel south until you reach the MLK, Jr. University Union (campus map). Turn right into the entrance leading into the Union parking lot. Pull up under the walkway to unload your packages. There will be someone to assist you with unloading. If you do not have any packages to unload, please proceed to the designated parking lot.

Parking Instructions


Shuttles:    
Shuttle vans will transport you from the stadium parking lot to the MLK, Jr. University Union.  Look for the "Job Fair Shuttle" signs on the vans.  The shuttle vans will run during the following times:  8:30 am - 10:30 am and 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm.


Check-in:   
Check-in for employers will begin at 8:00 am at either the Grand Ballroom or the University Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the University Union.  Each employer will be provided with a covered 8-foot table, a tablesign and chairs.  A continental breakfast buffet will be served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. 


Packages:
You are welcome to ship your display or career fair materials to our office prior to your arrival. Please send packages to:

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm:   Shuttle Service Available
