Exhibition Opening and Historical Administration Symposium Reception
Based on illustrated letters and diaries of Illinois soldiers, this exhibition will explore the universal themes of art for recording and sharing the experiences of war, and how such art is both personal and iconographic. Created for the Tarble by the EIU 2013 class of Historical Administration graduate students, with Mark Voss-Hubbard of the EIU Department of History as guest curator; this working title and general description may change.
