A group of overworked summer apprentices are backstage at the Imperial Opera House, and throughout the course of the comedic action, they sing songs in order to get ready for the upcoming showcase.

Music by composers such as Monteverdi, Mozart, Rossini and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
