Kidney Stone Lecture by COS Visiting Scholar

All are invited to attend the upcoming free public lecture, “Kidney Stones: Why Do They Happen and How Can We Prevent Them?,” by David S. Goldfarb, M.D., at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in Lumpkin Auditorium, Room 2030.  

Dr. Goldfarb is a Professor of Medicine and Physiology and Neuroscience at NYU School of Medicine.  He is Director of the Metabolic Stone Clinic, NY Harbor VA Healthcare System (NYHHS), Chief of the Nephrology Section at NYHHS, and Clinical Chief of the Nephrology Division at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Goldfarb has published over 145 articles on kidney function and disease and is recognized nationally and internationally for his work on the prevention and treatment of kidney stones. 

Dr. Goldfarb’s visit is being sponsored by the College of Sciences’ Visiting Scholar Program, the Faculty Development Partnership Grant Program, and the Department of Biological Sciences.
