WHAM 2013 Faculty Panel: 'Torqued by History: Appropriating a Woman's Images'
This WHAM 2013 faculty event is great opportunity to gather for food and drinks as we learn about some truly amazing historical figures.
The faculty panel will use a “fast chat” format (20 slides/20 secs each/6 minute presentations per person) to demonstrate how the images of particular women have served as vehicles for different ideological positions. A diverse group of EIU faculty will gather to present on women ranging from the mythic past to the present.
