Student Government Tobacco-Free Campus Open Forum Meeting
- A move to make EIU a tobacco-free community has sparked both debate and dialogue among EIU faculty and students for the past few months.
- For some at EIU smoking on campus is a lifestyle choice, freedom of choice, while for others it is a health choice.
- Through this campus/community forum, members of the EIU Student Government intend to gain university-wide feedback on the impact of a tobacco-free policy.
- As representative of the EIU student body, it is Student Government's aim to listen without passing judgment, to learn as much as possible, and understand without condemning.
Please come share your thoughts, comments, and concerns about EIU going completely tobacco-free!
