EIU's School of Business will be hosting the Illinois State HR Games on Feb. 22 and 23. There are six schools participating this year: Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois , DePaul, University of Illinois -Springfield, Illinois State University, and Eastern Illinois University.

This is a networking and competitive event for Society for Human Resource Management student chapters that is in its 3rd year. We have 39 students, plus advisers/coaches, seven EIU management faculty, alumni of past games, and area HR professionals will all be attending the games.

EIU's own Richard Enyard, EIU's Director of Human Resources, will serve as the official judge for the competitions. The “Games” will include: an individual multiple-choice test for all competing members, a Jeopardy-style 3 member team competition (12 teams competing), and a Case Study presentation/competition. The event is very fun and serves as a great networking tool and source of pride for the schools.
