Observatory Open House
On the last Friday of every month, the EIU Observatory is open to the public. Come join the Amateur Astronomers' Association of EIU and learn about space and astronomy. You can observe deep sky objects or planets through Eastern's 16-foot telescope, as well as learn about constellations and stargaze from the darkest spot on campus. Even if it's cloudy, we'll still be there to show you the observatory and have a chat. Click here for directions to the observatory.
