'American Music History on Film: Documentary with a Beat'
'America's Music: A Film History of Our Popular Music from Blues to Bluegrass to Broadway' will be presented on the EIU campus from Jan. 11-April 6. The series looks at six musical genres that are uniquely American: blues and gospel, jazz and swing, Broadway, country and bluegrass, rock 'n' roll, and mambo and hip hop.
On Jan. 14, Dr. Robin Murray will present 'American Music History on Film: Documentary with a Beat' at 4 p.m. in the Doudna Fine Arts Center, Lecture Hall. For a complete schedule of activities, visit www.library.eiu.edu.
