A Futuristic Look Through Ancient Lenses: A Symposium on Ancient Greece will be held at EIU Oct. 3 through Nov. 7. On Oct. 24, the following lectures are planned:

• Todd Bruns of Booth Library will present Ancient Greek Technology and Professor Kathy Rhodes will present Laughter, Food and Curiosity in Greece at 10 a.m.
• Dr. Andrew Robinson will present The Apostle Paul's Influence on the Ancient Greeks at 11 a.m.

All will be presented in Witters Conference Room 4440, Booth Library.
