How to Become a Finance Major
You may select Finance as your major when you enroll at Eastern Illinois University. To enroll as an upper-division (junior- and senior-level) Finance major, however, you must apply to and be accepted for admission to the School of Business. See the School of Business admission requirements.
During your freshman and sophomore years, you should work on completing the general education curriculum and the lower-division business core curriculum courses required for admission to the School of Business.
In choosing your coursework, consult with your academic advisor and follow the recommended schedule for Finance majors.
