Accounting Position

Eastern Illinois University invites applicants for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Accountancy. Position begins fall 2013. Candidate should possess expertise and teaching experience in either Financial or Managerial Accountancy, although other specialties will be considered.  A Ph.D. or DBA is preferred, although ABDs close to completion will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a teaching, research, and service record commensurate with the desired professional rank. Evidence of strong instructional effectiveness and scholarly productivity is essential, as are strong communication and interpersonal skills. Business experience and professional certification are desirable.

Marketing Position

Position requires ability to teach in the areas of marketing management or marketing strategy, with a secondary desired teaching area in B2B. A Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution is expected, although ABDs close to completion will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a teaching, research, and service record commensurate with the desired professional rank. Evidence of strong instructional effectiveness and scholarly productivity is essential, as are strong communication and interpersonal skills.
