Accountancy Curriculum
Undergraduate Accountancy Program Learning Objectives:
The objectives of the undergraduate Accountancy curriculum are to impart the following:
- Technical knowledge of accounting principles, standards, procedures and other applications.
- Critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Ethical understanding and reasoning abilities.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting information technology.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Awareness of cultural diversity.
Students majoring in accountancy must complete the Accountancy Core Curriculum and 1 (one) Elective. Students majoring in Accounting must also complete the General Education Curriculum and the Business Core Curriculum.
