Are you dreaming of starting a business, but don’t know where to begin? Perhaps you’ve already taken the plunge, but need some help getting your feet under you, or maybe your once-successful business is starting to show signs of stress. We can help.
Join us for the Summer 2013 Summer Institute.
We’re seeking entrepreneurially-minded local and regional business owners, and community members who plan to start a business. University enrollment is not required to participate in this highly interactive seminar with hands-on workshops.

Lead Professor Dr. Michael E. Dobbs and Specialist Professors Dr. David Fleming, Dr. William Minnis and Mr. Jeff Oetting will show you how to:
- Develop a viable master business plan for your new start-up, or for your existing business that needs a significant strategic shift
- Develop competence in operation, marketing, finance, cash flow and other critical aspects of starting a business
- Develop skills in pitching your business venture to potential investors and stakeholders
Complete the program successfully to receive your plaque-mounted Certificate of Completion. Present your plan to a panel of experts for a chance to receive a “Best Business Plan” award!
The $995 registration fee covers four weekends of workshop training, workshop materials, and Saturday lunches. You will also need a computer with Internet access; access to Business Plan Software will be provided.

Fridays 6:30–10:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. for four weekends:
