Advisor Information
Welcome to the BGS Adult Degree Program!
If you are seeking assistance with course selection, portfolio development or any other matters pertaining to program requirements, please consult with the BGS advisors! The BGS Degree Program has three full time advisors to help meet your program needs. They are dedicated to ensuring the success of each BGS student, so throughout the process you will have access to your advisor via e-mail, webcam, face-to-face advisement sessions and telephone. Audrey Bachelder has been an academic advisor for the program since 2000. She is the office advocate for non-academic support and services. She enjoys working with adult students and assists the program director. Audrey can be reached at aabachelder@eiu.edu.
Kim Redfern has been with the program since 2003. She is the office professional who manages Prior Learning Assessment for all BGS students. Kim can be reach at karedfern2@eiu.edu
Jackie Johnson joined the BGS team in 2012. She is located in the Chicago area and works with the BGS students located there. Jackie can be reached at jjohnson@eiu.edu or 217-549-3347.
Parkland Advisement Dates
Students will meet with an advisor in Room X-107, from 10am - 4:00pm.
