Substituting ACT Composite Score of 22 (SAT of 1030) for Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP)

The Illinois State Board of Education recently adopted a policy to allow an ACT composite score of a 22 on the ACT plus Writing (SAT combined score of 1030) taken in the last 10 years to substitute for the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP)/Basic Skills required for admission to teacher education.

Click here for more information and steps for requesting to substitute ACT for TAP.
