About the Program
The Department of Art offers a Master of Arts in Art program that is quite successful in giving students time to mature in the development of their artwork, providing valuable work experience in the visual arts through graduate assistantships, and assisting in the development of portfolios. These portfolios enhance the students' opportunity to compete for admission to and graduate assistantships within Master of Fine Arts programs.
Our graduates are routinely accepted to leading MFA programs around the country, and the quality of our students' artwork often rivals that of students completing two-year terminal degree programs. For more information or if you have questions, please contact our graduate coordinator.
