& Haven On-Line Sexual Assault

at Eastern Illinois University

 

Both the AlcoholEdu On-Line Alcohol Education Module and the Haven On-Line Sexual Assault Module are required mandates for all incoming first-year and transfer students at Eastern Illinois University.  

Haven On-Line Sexual Assault Module is required for all new international students and continuing education students taking courses at off-campus locations and/or only on-line classes.

The programs for students entering during Spring 2016 are now available.  Programs for students entering Summer 2016 and Fall 2016 are expected to be available August 1, 2016.

 

Students Entering EIU in Spring 2016 - Timelines

November 9, 2015 - Notification, including log-in and registration instructions will be sent to student's EIU e-mail account.

November 9, 2015 - AlcoholEdu Part I and Haven modules are activated and available for completion once a student has registered for classes.  Until a student registers, students will not be able to access.

January 11, 2016 - Both Part I of Alcoholedu and the complete Haven Sexual Assault Module must be completed by the first day of class by any new student (first-year and transfer) 

Week of January 25 - Holds are placed on students accounts of on-campus students not completing both AlcoholEdu Part I and Haven. International students and continuing education student holds will be placed based on registration dates.

April 1, 2016 - Part II of AlcoholEdu must be completed to avoid additional student hold.

New Students Entering EIU in Summer & Fall 2015 - Timelines

 

Programs for students entering Summer 2016 and Fall 2016 are expected to be available August 1, 2016.

Both Part I of Alcoholedu and the complete Haven Sexual Assault Module must be completed by the first day of class (August 22, 2016) for any new student (first-year and transfer) who is entering during the Summer or Fall 2016 term. International Students and Off-Campus Continuing Education Students are only required to complete Haven.

 

Notification, including log-in and registration instructions, will be sent to the campus e-mail of student's who have registered for fall 2016 classes.  A post-card reminder will also be sent to the student's permanent home address in early August.  If you have any questions, please email alcoholedu@eiu.edu

  • Part I of AlcoholEdu & Haven is due by 1/11/2016.
