Overview

Political Science is a diverse course of study that offers something for everyone, with students having the opportunity to study fascinating and relevant subjects such as American Foreign Policy, Middle East Politics, African Politics, Political Parties, Interest Groups, Civil Liberties, the American Presidency, Environmental Politics/Policy and Human Resource Management.

Political science students take a series of foundation courses to prepare them for advanced courses and for conducting research. Majors take courses from each of the primary fields in Political Science: international relations; comparative politics; American politics, institutions, and policies; public administration; public law; and political theory.
