Chair Coit called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.

I.    Minutes

The minutes of 12/02/08 were approved as written.

II.    Executive Actions Approved

History:  1. Change pre-requisite for SOS 3400.  2.  Change title for HIS 3200.
    
Music:  1. Add a one credit hour option and eliminate the six credit hour option for the capstone projects in the graduate program thus changing credit hour options for MUS 5940 and 5950.  2.  Change course titles for MUS 0200 and MUS 5600.  3.  Change course titles for MUS 0233 and MUS 5633.

III.    Proposals

Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.13 New Course Proposal:  ART 4749 Senior Portfolio
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.14 Proposal for Bachelor of Fine Arts with option in Graphic Design
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.15 Proposal for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art with option in Studio (2D and 3D emphases)
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.16 Revision for Bachelor of Arts in Art with option in Studio (2D and 3D emphases)
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.17 Revised Course Proposal:  ART 2400 Introduction to Art Education
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.18 Revised Course Proposal:  ART 3405 Elementary Art Methods Studio
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.19 Revised Course Proposal:  ART 3415 Secondary Art Methods Studio
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)

08.20 Proposal for Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art with option in Teacher Certification
Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from the     committee.  Motion approved unanimously (7-0)
