Vice Chair Hoerschelmann called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

On the motion of McGregor and second of Kammerling, the minutes of November 2, 2011 were approved by acclamation.

    Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from committee members. Motion made (Harrison) and seconded (Kim) to approve. Item approved. (9-0)

    Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from committee members. Motion made (Sterling) and seconded (Harrison) to approve. Item approved. (9-0)

  • 11.15 Revised BFA in Art with Teacher Certification option
    Glenn Hild presented the proposal and addressed questions from committee members. Motion made (Sterling) and seconded (Kammerling) to approve. Item approved. (9-0)

  • 11.16 Revised Film Studies minor
    Robin Murray presented the proposal and addressed questions from committee members. Motion made (Wolski) and seconded (McGregor) to approve. Item approved with minor revision. (9-0)

  • 11.17 New Course Proposal HIS 1521G World History Human Rights
    Jon Coit presented the proposal. He, Anita Shelton and David Smith addressed questions from committee members. Motion made (Sterling) and seconded (McGregor) to approve. Item approved with minor revisions. (9-0)
    David Smith exited Skype toward the end of discussion.

    Grant Sterling exited the meeting after this vote.

IV.  Vice-Chair Hoerschelmann communicated a request from CAA for a volunteer to represent the College on a subcommittee of the CAA University Learning Goals Committee. Domenica Newell-Amato graciously volunteered.
