College of Arts & Humanities Curriculum Committee Minutes

Members present:

Chair Kim called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.
I. Introductions
Members introduced themselves. New members include Caroline Simpson from Art, Irene Coromina from Foreign Languages, and Paul Johnston from Music.
II. Information
By-laws and a table identifying deadlines and dates impacting effective dates and course revisions were distributed.
III. Minutes
The minutes of 4/29/09 were approved by acclamation as amended. Members were asked to consult with their chair and forward student representative nominees to Chair Kim.
IV. Discussion
Goals and directions for the 2009-2010 academic year were discussed. Each member shared potential items from their department. Senior seminars, Integrative Learning and Student Community Service were other topics of discussion.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
