Counseling Center – Two Counseling Positions Available

The University invites applications for two full-time, 12 month counselor positions. Staff counselors are responsible for providing individual, couples and group counseling, assessment, crisis intervention, rotating on call services, consultation, varied outreach programming, and coordination of a Center Program.

PhD preferred, masters required in a degree of Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or related field. Licensure in the state of Illinois , or the ability to be licensed in the state of Illinois within one year of hire date is required. We are looking for a counselor with experience in working with Eating Disorders to the extent that they would oversee our Eating Disorder Treatment Team. We are also looking for a counselor who has varied creative experience with outreach to be our Outreach Coordinator. Experience in group coordination would also be a plus. Candidates who are committed to the overall wellness of students and to contributing to the wellness of a positive, team environment with the ability to laugh loud and often are highly desired.
