The EIU Telecommunications Office provides all on-campus phone related services for both Student and Administrative customers.  Drop by our office, which is located in Room 3040 in the Student Services (north of MLK Union), for assistance with your on-campus phone services.

From long distance to phone line features like Caller ID, the Telecom office provides many of the same services that you are accustomed to using with your own local telephone provider.

During the month of February 2008 all EIU administrative telephone users will receive new phones. Departments will be notified in advance of the installation, as their building is scheduled for replacement. Please call Telecommunications at 581-5951 if you have any questions
