Transfer of Credit

Eastern accepts credit for transfer courses based on the following criteria:

• Credit must be from a regionally accredited institution

• Credit is awarded only upon receipt of an official transcript

• Credit is not given for courses classified as remedial, developmental or numbered below 100

• Hours for courses in which a grade of ‘D' was earned are accepted as long as the student has an overall ‘C' average from the institution where the course was taken.

• Only the hours for transfer courses are accepted so the student's Eastern grade point average is not impacted
