To arrange an audition for admission as a music major or minor, simply fill out the form below. Students auditioning for admission as a music major are automatically considered for a scholarship; no additional materials are necessary. The Department of Music offers a variety of monetary awards to undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding musical ability, including Grants-In-Aid, Excellence In Fine Arts Awards, Talented Student Awards, and numerous endowed scholarships donated by alumni and friends of EIU.

To be considered for music scholarships, applicants should audition by March 1.
