49th Annual EIU Jazz Festival
February 8 & 9, 2008

The Eastern Illinois Jazz Ensemble will kick off the 49th Annual EIU Jazz Festival with a concert on Friday night, February 8.  This concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in EIU's MLK University Union Grand Ballroom. High school and junior high school bands will compete and participate in clinics all day Saturday, February 9.

Past jazz festival guest artists include Steve Wilson, Wayne Bergeron, Steve Turre, Robin Eubanks, Joe Magnerelli, Bob Mintzer, and Mark Colby.  Please check back soon for more information about our guest for this year's guest artist.
