E.H. Taylor Mathematics
Four-Year Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded for one (1) year and may be
renewed for a maximum of four (4) years or eight (8) semesters.
This scholarship will be awarded according to the
following criteria:
- The recipient shall be a person who has applied
for admission and is accepted by Eastern Illinois University with a
declaration of a major in a program in the Department of Mathematics
and Computer Science.
- The recipient will have shown outstanding achievement
in the study of mathematics in high school and promise of outstanding
achievement in the study of mathematics at Eastern Illinois University.
To be eligible for renewal of this scholarship, the recipent must
remain enrolled as a major within the Department of mathematics and
Computer Science. The student is expected to make reasonable and
normal progress toward a degree.

2008 (for freshmen entering EIU fall 2008)
