The 2004 conference committee is pleased to announce that Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, has been selected as the host for the 2005 'Labman'. Many thanks to the attendees, presenters and vendors who continued the Labman tradition and made this year's conference at Eastern Illinois University a great success.

Cornell was selected from three of this year's participating schools that returned applications to host the '05 conference. All are highly qualified, solid applicants that have supported past conferences.

Cornell has been a very strong conference supporter, sending several representatives each year since Labman 3. Members of their contingent have served on panels or been presenters at the last two conferences. This gives Cornell a Labman experience pool to draw from as they organize next summer's event.

The 2004 committee also hopes that by moving the conference from the Midwest to the East that more participants from the East will take part. It seems that once a person has attended Labman, they attend again. Hopefully this will continue and enable the conference to thrive as new first-time attendees from new regions are attracted.
