Earlier Inductions:
Eleven new members of the Eastern Illinois chapter of the Society for
Collegiate Journalists were inducted April 6, 2006, at the Conference Room of Booth Library. All members are active in one or more of Eastern's student media, including the Daily Eastern News, the Warbler and Pounce Online.
SCJ activities for the semester include a movie and reception honoring Peter Voelz, who is retiring after 28 years of teaching journalism at Eastern, volunteering at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library book sale and helping proctor at the state journalism competition.
