Run and wait for the program to download

- When prompted click Next
- When prompted, click on “I accept” and click next
- Following the next screen, click next again and then click on Install
- After the install has finished look down by the clock in the taskbar and there will be a yellow shield. Double-click the yellow shield and it will open Symantec Antivirus. Click on the LiveUpdate button.
- When LiveUpdate opens click Next
- After the updates have finished and installed click Finish
- To create a schedule scan open Symantec Antivirus and click Schedule Scans.
- Choose Full Scan
- You can leave the default settings or choose a name for the scan.
- Choose Weekly for the frequency of the scans and leave the time for 12:00 PM.
- Select Save
- To run a scan open Symantec AntiVirus and select the type of scan you would like to run. Once you have selected your scan it should give you the option to click Scan.
- Once the scan has started a new dialog box will appear and any viruses the scan finds will show up. After the scan has finished it will give you the option to Remove Risks Now. Click this button and it will clear all instances of the virus.
