The Office of University Housing and Dining Services provides a variety of computers and as well as software to meet the needs of our students. Labs are maintained for activities such as Word Processing, Web Applications, Email and many other functions. Laser printers are also available in order for printing student’s documents.

Eastern Illinois University Housing and Dining Services has three computer labs: Stevenson Hall, Carman Hall and Taylor Hall. Greek Court also has computers for students to use. Our labs are considered to be closed labs. This means that you must reside in Eastern Illinois University Housing in order to use these labs. When you enter the lab, you must show your housing keys to the lab assistant on duty. This proves that you reside in an on-campus residence hall.

Other computer labs are available in academic buildings for both on and off-campus students to utilize. If students are interested in obtaining an e-mail account through Eastern Illinois University, they may contact Computer Services at 581-HELP for further information or visit their website. If students are having problems with connecting to the Ethernet, please call 581-7708.
