The Exhibit Committees

 

Curatorial 
Committee members are Jenny Marvel, Steph Gaub, Heather Stecklein, and Sarah Johnson
The curators provide specialist information through research on the exhibit 
subject matter.  They also identify, locate, select, and negotiate the acqusition
and/or loan of material.  Curators provide label copies and illustration
references as well.  Above all, the committee is enthusiastic about their
subject, and understanding of the designer's role.

Designer
Committee members are Jamie Draper, Leslie Mio, Dave Chittenden, and Kristin Brown.
The design team undertakes research into exhibition methods, materials and solutions.
They produce/supervise the production of working drawings, specifications, and develop a 
construction budget.  Design committee members run the
design review meetings and supervise production and installation.
Education
Education committee members are Jenny Marvel, Kristin Brown, Steph Gaub, and Dave Chittenden.
The educators contribute special knowledge on education aspects of both the exhibit and its topic 
through research.  They advise on aspects of education psychology and technology.
Education committee members also propose potential content and exhibit elements associated with
teaching materials.
Registrar
Committee members are Jamie Draper, Leslie Mio, and Christa Christensen,
The registrar committee keeps track of the exhibit artifact list and fills out information on object data sheets. 
They make arrangements for loans, keep files of all paperwork, manage artifact location and condition reports, 
work with photographer to record exhibit artifacts and set up schedules for traveling exhibits if applicable. 
The registrar committee also coordinates the installation of objects in the exhibit.
Photographer/Web Designer
The committee members are Christa Christensen, Dave Chittenden, Heather Stecklein,  and Sarah Johnson
Photography committee members photograph or scan all two dimensional graphics for the exhibit.  Uses digital camera
primarily for artifact record keeping. The photography committee keeps a photographic record
of the exhibit development process, shots of the exhibit after installation, and develops HA homepage as exhibit progress
is made.
