*As of February 3, Internet Native Banner will require a new Java Plugin. You may install the Java Plugin at any time but the system will not require it until February 3.   Mac users on OS X using either Safari or Firefox do not need to take any action.  Linux users will need the Java Plugin for Linux at the 1.5_11 release or later.  

Please click on PLUGIN to begin your installation. Instructions to install the Plugin are available HERE.

Please note:  using the PLUGIN link above will install the correct version of the Java Plugin.  Should you be prompted to update to a newer version, please choose No.  Compatible versions of the java plugin are 1.5.0_13 and any number higher that begins with 1.5. 

* The recommended browser to use for Internet Native Banner (INB) or Self Serve Banner (SSB) is Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0. For Mac OS X, Safari 10.3.

If you use any other browser, your results may not be as expected.

* For On-Campus Wireless connection and ALL Off Campus connection:
You must use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access Internet Native Banner (INB). Use this link for more information on VPN to download and use.

*Mac Users: If you encounter problems logging on or connecting to Banner, please contact the EIU help desk at 581-HELP (4357).
