College of Sciences Student Advisory Board

Student Assistance Award

 

The College of Sciences Student Advisory Board is offering this award to students who have had to overcome some type of hardship or adversity during their college career in order to continue their education.  The award will be presented at the College of Science’s annual ScienceFest on March 28, 2008.

 

Criteria and requirements for this application are as follows:

1)      2.5 GPA

2)      Undergraduate with at least sophomore status and a student at the time of the award

3)      Declared major in the College of Sciences.

4)      Completed application (attached).  Typed applications are recommended; however, legible written applications are acceptable.  Please limit your response to 4 double-spaced pages. 

5)      Recommendation (attached) from an EIU professor.

 

Applications are due March 18, 2008 by 4:00 p.m.  Electronic applications can be obtained from the COS-SAB website at http://www.eiu.edu/~colsci/sabcos/sab.php.
