Media Services is located
in Booth Library on the 1000 level North. Services offered include:
media production, photographic services, media equipment, and support to
faculty and staff using media in classrooms or at university functions.
The Media Services' main office is located in Room 1105. Office hours are
from 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have questions
about our various services, please call us at 581-6011 or fax to
581-6993.
Media Production
Production Services provides
photography, audio and video tape duplication, and video format conversion.
Media Services provides support for classroom useage, publications,
and other applications. The photographic services include: studio and on-location
photography, digital photography for websites and other computer applications,
color slide and black and white photo processing, transfer of photographs
to digital images, slide duplication, and digital file conversion to slide

Equipment Checkout
Portable media equipment
may be checked out for use on campus. Equipment can be delivered to the
classroom, a departmental office, a satellite office, or picked up at our
location in Booth Library. Certain media equipment may be checked
out by students with faculty approval. Contact Joe DeCaro for assistance

Repair/Maintenance
The staff of Media Service
provides repair and preventative maintenance of university-owned portable
and installed media equipment and systems. Contact Henry Brown for assistance

Training
Our staff is available to
instruct users in the operation of a variety of different equipment such
as TV/VCR units, slide projectors, audiocassette recorders, cameras, laptop
computers, and data projectors. We can also provide training in the use
of multimedia classrooms and lecture hall media systems on Eastern's campus.
Consulting
The Media Services staff
has installed over 120 technology classrooms in 12 buildings since 1990.
