Transfer Credit Evaluation

Transcripts: Write immediately to all colleges previously attended to have OFFICIAL transcripts sent to the Director of the Bachelor of Arts in General Studies Degree program at Eastern Illinois University. This applies to DANTES, USAFI, CCAF, and CLEP, as well. All passing grades from regionally accredited colleges and universities, unless remedial or developmental in nature, will be accepted. Transcripts which have been issued to students will not be accepted for evaluation.

Military Credit: Veterans should submit a copy of the DD214 (discharge form). Active military personnel submit the DD295. Basic training as well as military courses which might be listed on these documents will be evaluated for credit.

Registered Nurses: Registered nurses who submit copies of their transcripts from hospital training schools along with certification of the R.N. will receive a minimum of 45 semester hours of credit.
