Proficiency Test

Certain national proficiency tests including CLEP, PEP, DANTES, and USAFI are accepted at Eastern. Students must score at the 50% level or above for CLEP and PEP exams. In addition, consult the EIU general catalog for information about departmental proficiency tests for credit.

Continuing Education Fee
The School of Continuing Education is committed to provide the highest quality service and support to our off campus adult students. Due to the increase in operating costs and professional personnel costs in the School of Continuing Education it will necessitate the raising of the Continuing Education Fee to $44 per credit hour. The School of Continuing Education will use this revenue to maintain the highest quality of service to the School of Continuing Education off-campus adult students.
