What Transfers?Eastern Illinois University accepts college level courses from any accredited college or university as college credit. Remedial, developmental, or orientational courses are NOT accepted. Hours and courses transfer as credit towards graduation. An evaluation of transfer credit will determine how courses are placed in a curriculum. Official evaluations of transfer credit are completed by the Records Office after each student is admitted.Grade point average does not transfer. GPA is used for admission to the University, and for admission into the College of Business, Economics, and Speech Communication Programs.
