Illinois Articulation Initiative Benefits

Transfer students who complete the 37 - 41 semester hour package of the Illinois Articulation Initiative from any participating College or University in Illinois will be guaranteed the following:

• All lower division EIU Graduation requirements are automatically waived.
• The Cultural Diversity Requirement will be met.
• The Constitution Requirement will be met. (*Note: If 9 hours of Social Behavioral Science are completed before entering EIU, then the Constitution requirement will be waived unless it is part of your Major requirements.)
