Eastern's NCA Self-Study website was developed to support the Self-Study process and thus the university's reaccreditation efforts. The goals of the 2003-2005 self-study are listed below:

Participation:

By employing effective communication strategies, the Self-Study team will educate the University's many communities about the Study's purpose and processes, and as a result, encourage their participation in this multi-year project.

Profiles:

Based on the Self-Study criteria, the team will create the institutional profiles that will form the quantitative foundation of the Self-Study Report.

Progress:

The Self-Study team will analyze and chart EIU's progress at achieving institutional goals and addressing NCA's recommendations on the 1995 Self-Study visit.

Planning:

The Self-Study team will identify areas where continued improvement is needed so that with appropriate planning, Eastern's vision may be fulfilled.
